The Reebok The Blast “Lakers” is a Los Angeles Lakers colorway of the old school basketball shoe that was worn by Nick Van Exel with the team back in 1996. The Blast is a popular retro hoops shoe from Reebok’s golden era of sneakers that spanned from the mid-to-late 1990s. The Blast was memorably worn in its original white-and-black colorway by “Nick the Quick” with the Lakers in the mid-90s, and this “Lakers” colorway, while in no way associated with the team, features its familiar uniform colors on its design. It features a white leather base with Lakers-esque purple and yellow on its eye-catching “Blast” design. Additional Lakers-inspired detailing is found on the classic Reebok branding on the tongue. Purple Hexalite cushioning appears through the visible window on the midsole. Release date: April 25, 2023
